As a jewelry maker of over four years now, I’ve been holding classes teaching those who are interested in wanting to learn from the skills I’ve developed in the countless of hours I have put into my craft! Many people ask me about my design process: what gauges of wire I use, how long to cut the wire for my frames, how to make those perfect swirls and loops— so for this class, I show you all those small details, while walking you through one of my more advanced earring designs. Please note that I do *NOT* show you how to make the BOTH earrings, I only show you how I make ONE complete earring. This class is not long enough to make both earrings to completion slow enough for you to all follow along, and my hope is that you will be able to finish the other earring on your own after class!��I explain the entire process of the earring design as I make them along with you in the video (see the photo in the flyer to see what earring we are making): from what gauge wire I use and why, how long of wire I intuitively determine to cut (though I am not measuring any of it as you know!), why it’s important to hammer the wire especially when making earrings, and addressing what people ask me the most about.. how do I make them so similar/alike? I also show you how to attach a teardrop to chain to dangle in the center of our earring, how to weave beads to dangle from your frame, how to make our own handmade earring hooks and jump rings, and then finally, putting it all together to make one whole earring!The video is about an 1 HR 45 MIN long, and (basically) for the entire creation process I am talking and sharing any and all kinds of advice that might be helpful you to understand how I am doing what I’m doing :)Please note a few things:1.
