This is a fully handmade copper wire tree of life sun catcher design! I hand bent about a 4 inch wide circle / hoop frame and hammered it flat, then cut many strands of copper wire and tied them all onto the frame and manually hand bent a tree design into the circle hoop frame. The beautiful part about this process is that every tree design comes out looking different, never alike to any other sun catcher I make. Onto the branches I threaded green glass beads which reflect the sun’s rays by casting colors onto the walls (though unfortunately I cannot show videos here�� you will just have to trust me that it does!). The outer beads are slightly bigger than the inner beads, which is just a fun way to make the tree look a bit “bulkier”The bead strand that I attached to the tree are a mix of aurora borealis glass beads (the ones that cast rainbows!), a central quartz bead with some interesting green rutilations in it, and some other green - toned beads stones that I was gifted and am unsure of their property. The purpose of these suncatcher designs was to “use up” beads that I have had laying around, so there is a “repurposed” feel to them! Even if the beads are not of the most pristine quality, they are pretty and deserve to be incorporated into something beautiful :)The entire suncatcher measures to be around 15 inches long, and is also made with a handmade copper hook. These are best hung by a window, ideally indoors! :)
