When Jan goes horseback riding, she discovers an injured woman on the ground close to her horse! As Elaine and Jan investigate the matter further, it appears as though this mystery is more complicated than it looks. Simultaneously, Jan becomes concerned about her son, Brian, after he begins spending more time with her than he had previously. Also, Archie soon realizes that uncovering the mysteries behind the interesting painting that the cousins purchased at the local flea market will be more difficult than he anticipated. As always, mysteries are abounding in the cozy town of Lancaster, Maine!
