The new EzyM Mobility Bed from Task Medical is a step up from the traditional heavy steel framed, flatbed patient gurney. Almost entirely made from a high-impact ABS polymer and a high-strength alloy frame, this new generation of the gurney is both a modern patient transport stretcher and a hi-lo bed. With a multitude of uses that would be beneficial for service in any kind of medical practice, aged care facility or hospital, the EzyM would prove to be a sound investment given its low price. Unlike a standard fixed-height patient gurney, the EzyM is capable of adjusting to fixed heights from 56cm to 86cm high using an easy-to-use crank handle. No external or onboard power supply is required. The backrest can be laid flat like a bed or can be tilted forward to form an examination-style couch. A gas strut makes the backrest adjustment effortless. The EzyM mobility bed comes with two patient safety side barriers that can easily fold up or down and lock securely into the upright position. A detachable four hooked, adjustable height IV pole is standard appointment as are the two oxygen cylinder holder rings. Large dual-wheel castors make for effortless maneuverability and the centre-mounted fifth wheel can be deployed at the touch of your foot, to pivot the bed in and out of tight corners and to park in tight-angled positions. The bed comes to rest securely with two front castor toe brakes. Our new model features a thicker patient mattress, now 60 mm in thickness and covered in blue hospital-grade vinyl for easy cleaning.
