It takes only 1 person to operate after adjusting the water/foam mixture to the proper ratio and pulling out the fire hose and foam nozzle. Apart from indoor protection, the inlet of the auto-suction mixer contains a 1.5" to 2.5" rapid joint, so it can be operated outdoor.
